  Azerbaijani police seize Armenians-left weapons, ammo in Gubadli, Khankendi districts 

The work on the detection and seizure of weapons and ammunition abandoned by Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation continues.

Officers of the Gubadli district police department regularly conduct raids on battlefields, inspect trenches and fortifications of the enemy, the Interior Ministry's press service told AzVision.az. 

"During the next raid, two hand grenades, 4 shells, over 5,000 rounds of ammunition of different calibre, etc. were found and seized," the Interior Ministry said.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijani police officers have discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition in the city of Khankendi as part of comprehensive measures.

During the operation, law enforcement officers seized an assault rifle, a machine gun, five hand grenades, 3,589 cartridges of various calibres, and two fuses for hand grenades.
